FIRST UCCSA CONVOCATION at MOFFAT MISSION |
|

|
History was made when the first ever UCCSA Family Convocation was held at the Moffat Mission in Kuruman.
The Convocation took place from the 11 - 15 November 2008 under the theme:
"In Christ There Is
A Future For
Families".
The UCCSA Vision plan provides an opportunity for family building and bonding.
It was at the Convocation that the opportunity was explored, and speaker after speaker took stage to express the need for a united family. The emphasis of the inaugural UCCSA convocation was on family, love and creating a healthy home.
Families and individuals from as far Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia attended this historical event. It was a wonderful experience to interact as Brothers and Sisters and to participate in the programs presented.
Apart from specific topics that were presented by The Rev Dr Prince Dibeela, Ms Sally Pillar and the Rev Ian Booth, daily activities included: Spiritual Dancing, Creative Art Sessions, Traditional Dancing and a Guided Tour through the Moffat Centre.
Rev Annalie Brandt
and her husband George
were the Chaplains during
this joyous occasion.
